HMSC Summer Housing Scholarships
Students taking summer courses at the Hatfield Marine Science Center are eligible to apply for housing scholarships, which provide free or reduced-rate housing on-site for the duration of the summer term in which they are enrolled. Application deadline: May 30, 2008.

Markham First Year Student Award
One-time funding of up to $10,000 to support an incoming first year graduate student who plans to be resident at HMSC after the first academic year in Corvallis. Application deadline: March 17, 2008.

Joan Crebbin Memorial Fellowship
Up to $3,000 for qualified undergraduate and graduate students, with preference to those involved in marine science public education programs as interns, and to students whose major study emphasis is marine biology, particularly mammals. Application deadline: April 14, 2008.

Travel/Conference Fee Award
HsO encourages students to present their research findings at professional conferences related to their field of study. To support student participation in such conferences, HsO, has created an annual award of $250 to help finance a student’s travel and/or conference fees.
