HMSC Summer Housing Scholarship

Purpose:	Students taking summer courses at the Hatfield Marine Science Center are eligible to apply for housing scholarships, which provide free or reduced-rate housing on-site for the duration of the summer term in which they are enrolled.
	Summer coursework at the Hatfield Marine Science Center provides unique, hands-on educational opportunities to students in many different disciplines. Students are able to learn about marine animals and their environments in Oregon’s estuaries and coastal ocean by studying live animals in the laboratory, on field visits to beach, rocky intertidal and estuarine habitats, and on boats.

Payment will be through funding of housing expenses during the term of residence. Funds for these awards came from generous donations to the Friends of the HMSC.
