Welcome!
Anyone in need of food assistance is welcome to use the Hatfield Food Pantry. Students, staff, faculty, agency partners, and community members can access the pantry, whether for short-term or long-term support.

Pantry Hours
The food pantry is open and available for self-checkout any time the Guin Library is open.
The Guin's normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Pantry Location
The Guin Library is located on the Hatfield Marine Science Center campus located at 2030 SE Marine Drive, Newport, OR.
Within the Guin Library, you will find the pantry near the Library Seminar Room.
Examples Items
- Canned fruit and vegetables (green beans, kidney beans)
- Rice and pasta
- Frozen vegetables (corn, zucchini, hasbrowns)
How it Works
- Bring your reusable shopping bag.
- Follow the recommended serving signs to select your groceries. Please only take what you need.
- Complete the self-checkout form.
- Take your groceries home!
Note: The pantry is refilled on the last Tuesday of every month.
Proof of Income NOT required.
Income guidelines are posted as general recommendations only. We recognize that financial need isn't always reflected in income levels.

When using the pantry, you'll be asked to provide an email address or another contact method. This information is confidential and used only to notify you of urgent food safety issues, such as recalls.
