From Portland Airport (PDX), 3 hours:

Method 1
South on I205, west on Hwy 30, south on I5, west on Hwy 99W leading on to Hwy 18, south on Hwy 101 to Lincoln City, and then on to Newport and across the bridge to the Hatfield Marine Science Center.

Method 2
South on I205, south on I5 to Albany, west on Hwy 20 (or on Hwy 34 south of Albany), pass through Corvallis, west on Hwy 20 to Newport, south on Hwy 101 and across the bridge to the Hatfield Marine Science Center.

From Eugene Airport, 2 hours:
North on Hwy 99W to Corvallis, west on Hwy 20 to Newport, south on Hwy 101 and across the bridge to the Hatfield Marine Science Center.
