Educational tours are available to groups for a small fee to help cover staff costs. Our volunteers and staff strive to provide every curious visitor with a friendly interpretive visit. To assist them in that goal, we require at least one week's advance notice for groups of more than a dozen people.

Your group can also opt to explore the center at your own pace, after a brief introduction by our staff. Such self-guided tours take between 45 and 90 minutes, depending on the group's interest. For groups of 12 or more; there is a $1 per person fee, although all groups are encouraged to make a donation to help support the center and its programs.

Guidelines for youth tours:

(For groups of 12 or more)
Chaperones:

• Please bring one chaperone per five students
• Ensure that chaperones stay with students at all times during visit
• Provide chaperones and students with name badges, if possible

If you don't bring enough chaperones,
your group may be divided into sub-groups for the tour.
