SOL lab member, Amanda Gladics, just returned from making seabird and marine mammal observations on a research cruise aboard the R/V Ocean Starr. The cruise, part of a California Current-wide study of rockfish recruitment, departed from Eureka, California and returned to Astoria, Oregon and included transects over seabird hotspots such as Heceta Bank and Astoria Canyon.
