Mark Farley serves as the Director of Business Operations at the OSU Hatfield Marine Science Center, where he provides strategic and fiscal leadership in support of marine research, campus operations, and institutional partnerships. Mark oversees research operations, major capital projects, and co-leads Oregon’s Blue Sector Network—a coast-wide initiative focused on economic development and workforce advancement in the state’s ocean-related industries. He also works closely with federal and state agencies to advance grant development and new initiatives aligned with Hatfield’s mission. A collaborative leader and advocate for Oregon’s coastal research community, Mark is deeply involved in aligning marine science with the priorities of invested communities.
