LIVE ANIMAL INTERACTIONS (click to join live)

Ages: All (younger students must be accompanied by an adult/guardian)

Description: Can’t get to the tide pools? We will bring the tide pool fun to you! Educators will use a series of virtual LIVE animal interactions featuring our favorite tide pool critters. They will discuss each organism's adaptations that help them survive the ever-changing rocky intertidal environment. Given the “Beauty of Science'' theme, participants are encouraged to draw pictures or write poetry using descriptive words of the animals. Be sure to share all creations on the Community Art Gallery.

Description: Have you ever wondered what it’s like to take care of the animals housed at Hatfield? Join us LIVE and hear from the staff who are responsible for the care and feeding of all our unique critters! Don't forget to bring your questions and curiosities to this session.
