Biography:

My interest in science has primarily revolved around avian ecology. I had my first experiences in the field working for California Waterfowl Association as a wetland technician. Working with waterfowl and wetlands strengthened my interests in the study of migratory bird species. I currently work as an environmental education intern with Environment for the Americas; a position that has given me the opportunity to work with the Bureau of Land Management and Oregon State University. With a combination of field research doing seabird monitoring and environmental outreach with the Latino community, Environment for the Americas has cultivated in me a strong interest in the field of education; a vocation I am currently trying to pursue.
