This is an onsite event with limited remote options. The Research Summit is a unique opportunity for our larger community to meet and engage with the diversity of research, researchers, and programs across our many organizations that make Hatfield Marine Science Center special. The Research Summit features a mix of presentations on new and innovative research at Hatfield and small discussion groups. There will also be optional workshops, tours, and social events. Check in for all events on the first floor of the Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building. Lunch and snacks are provided for the full-day event. The event is free, but space is limited, and registration is required to attend.

The annual HMSC Research Summit is a unique opportunity for our larger community to meet and engage with the diversity of research, researchers, and programs across our many organizations that make Hatfield Marine Science Center special. This year’s event will be held on Oct. 21- 22 and we expect approximately 150 researchers, staff, and students will be in attendance over the two days. The goal of this event is to foster connections and collaboration across the HMSC and its partners. Lunch and snacks are provided for the full-day free event. Sponsorship dollars will go towards helping us cover the food and speaker support costs associated with putting on a free event with no registration cost for our participants.
