HMSC Rescheduled Research Summit - December 15, 2025

Registration is now open

The 7th Annual HMSC Research Summit, originally scheduled for October 20-21, was postponed due to the U.S. government shutdown and the need to include our federal colleagues in the event. Now that the government has reopened, we have rescheduled the Summit for Monday, December 15, from 1 to 4 p.m.

  • Audience: All HMSC researchers, students and collaborators
  • Location: Hatfield Marine Science Center. Note: some sessions have remote view options.
  • Registration Deadline: COB December 11

It will be similar to the original Summit, just a bit shorter, featuring a mix of talks, breakout rooms, and workshops, with ample time for socializing. This event offers a great opportunity for our wider research community to connect and engage with the diverse research, researchers, and programs across our many organizations that make Hatfield Marine Science Center unique! The theme of this year’s Summit is Rewiring Science at HMSC and Beyond. Throughout the event, members of the HMSC research community share ideas, insights, questions, and resources to promote ongoing research and foster new collaborations.

Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made to Cinamon Moffett, 541-867-0126, [email protected].

If you have any questions, please contact Cinamon MoffettLaurie Weitkamp or Matt Harwell.
