Instructor Resources
Motor pool authorization - Requires physical or electronic signatures
Van Safety Training - Requires online video and test. Once completed, the results will be emailed to you and the motor pool office.
This request form helps us collect information on what type of support your course will need this summer. It includes questions about field trips, equipment requests, etc., and you can even upload your syllabus! Please fill out at least TWO WEEKS prior to the start of your class.

Key Access
Keys will be given to instructors to gain access to classrooms and/or labs that will be used during their summer term session. Questions regarding key access should be directed to Tami O'Connor or [email protected].
Animal Care - Please be sure to indicate in the request form that you plan on holding animals in the seawater system so we can ensure you have been through the proper training. If you have questions, please contact Cinamon Moffett.
Meeting and Classroom - Information on available meeting rooms, classrooms and other spaces
Photo waivers - MariAnna will coordinate a time to speak with your class on the first day of class to present waivers for students to complete.
Guin Library and Course Reserves
Julie Drengson will send out an email before classes begin to request course reserve and carrel information. Please respond to that ASAP. If you have questions, reach out to:

Vans
Instructors will be added to the shared Summer Van and Field Trip Outlook calendar to view trip and driver details.

Field Trip Requests
Yaquina Head, Outstanding Natural Area (YHONA)
- Hours: Trails, beaches, and restrooms are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.*. The Interpretive Center, including exhibits and Interpretive Store, are open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. *They hope to return to closing at sunset sometime after May 7, granted they are able to hire enough seasonal staff. Will update as we hear more.

Go-bags in vans
Each van is equipped with emergency go-bags, including items like hand-crank flashlights, radios and protein bars. Those bags will be left in the vans for the duration of the summer. Please let us know if items need to be replaced or if you have suggestions for other items to include.
