There are many ways to visit Hatfield - whether you are a prospective student, a current OSU group, club or class, or just interested in exploring the world of Hatfield. Everyone is welcome, and we can't wait to see you.

At this time, we are not providing individual tours for prospective students. However, OSU Admission offers group tours for prospective students.

OSU STUDENTS | CLUBS | CLASSES

We invite OSU groups to explore their marine science center and learn about the vast array of opportunities on our campus. Contact us directly to set up a visit, and please include the following information:

  • Group or class name/title
  • Number of participants in your group visit
  • Area of interest/focus of group visit
  • Preferred dates and times. We will try and accommodate your preferences, but visits are staffing-dependent.

You are also welcome to visit the Hatfield campus on your own. The state-of-the-art Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building and Guin Library are open to the public.

  • Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Ultralife South Beach Cafe inside the GVMSB: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • OSU Guin Library: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Hatfield Visitor Center: Thursday-Monday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Take a Quest

You may also like to participate in one of the Quests set up around the Hatfield campus. Quests are fun, free-choice learning adventures that use clues and hints to encourage participants to discover the natural, cultural and historical "treasures" of a place or community.
