Shannon Reed is the Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice President for Marine Research Operations & Executive Director at the OSU Hatfield Marine Science Center. Serving as a strategic partner to the AVPMRO and other members of the senior leadership at Hatfield, Shannon provides confidential administrative support, anticipates priorities and potential risks, manages complex calendars, and helps ensure the success of her team. She is part of the Executive Assistant team in the Division of Research and Innovation (DRI), where she and the other DRI EAs have formed a close network to ensure efficiency and excellence in administrative support for DRI leadership. Shannon has been with OSU since 2010, where she worked in various student services roles within the OSU Graduate School and the College of Engineering. She joined Hatfield in 2017.
