K-12 Learning @ Hatfield
Located on the Hatfield campus, Oregon Sea Grant's marine education program offers formal classes and labs for students of all ages. The Oregon Coast STEM Hub, also located at Hatfield, provides rigorous professional development support for educators. These programs are dedicated to increasing marine science literacy in the classroom and daily life for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Our pre-college programming also includes partnerships with OSU and affiliated groups statewide, including SMILE and OSU PreCollege Programming.
A broad range of formal and informal learning opportunities are available to the nearly 100K adults and children who visit the Hatfield Visitor Center which is operated by Oregon Sea Grant. All programs are built around marine science, tied to state and national STEM standards, and offer hands-on learning opportunities.
